Payment Policies and Options... We make every effort to charge reasonable and fair prices for our services and products and to apply those charges to your account accurately. Some fees vary depending on your pet's weight, such as boarding, spay, neutering, and bathing, so feel free to call for price estimates over the phone. But keep in mind, quotes and estimates are not binding unless in writing and then only for ten days. If you should find a mistake on your account, please notify us of the discrepancy. Often times the mistake can be cleared up on the phone and our embarrassment usually exceeds your dissatisfaction.
Be aware that when you leave your pet with us for surgery, boarding, or whatever reason, your pet's health and well being is our primary concern. Therefore, unless you tell us otherwise, in advance and in writing on your check-in sheet, we are going to treat your pet in our best medical judgment while he/she is in our custody and care and such charges will be reflected on your invoice. As an example, some pets become excited or nervous when boarded and require a mild sedative or other medication to control diarrhea or nausea. So if you do not understand a charge, please stop and ask why this product or service was necessary. We make every effort to make you, our clients, happy so that our business will continue to grow through your referrals. Payment... At Lake Tapps Veterinary Hospital, we are proud to deliver the finest and most comprehensive veterinary care we can. In order to keep our costs as reasonable as possible, we require payment in full once treatment is completed or upon discharge, whichever occurs first, and reserve the right to require a deposit of up to the full estimated treatment costs prior to treatment beginning.
Because we know our clients have a variety of needs and special circumstances, we offer a number of ways to pay for your pet's veterinary needs. We gladly accept cash, checks, with proper identification, Visa, Mastercard, money orders, and cashier's or traveler's checks.
We also offer CareCredit (R), a separate line of credit provided by a third party vendor. On your approved credit we can usually have your account set-up in about fifteen minutes. You may apply in advance at their website www.carecredit.com or at our facility. If you have financial concerns or believe you may have problems paying for your pets veterinary care, contact us before receiving your services. Always feel free to ask for a written estimate before receiving products or services.
